In compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) that came into effect in July 2020, Sanlam Trust (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Capital Legacy Solutions (Pty), will process and protect your personal information as required by relevant laws and the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa. We collect, process, collate, store, analyse and disclose personal information only for the following purposes:

• To draft or revise your will
• To store or retain your will in our wills vault
• To comply with legal and regulatory requirements
• To protect the legitimate interests of Sanlam Trust
• Any other purposes related to the above

As our client, you have the right to:

• Opt out and object to us sharing your information with anyone else
• Request a copy of your personal information held by Sanlam Trust
• Update and/or correct your personal information at any stage
